Shutter-frame
This started out as a door on our hallway closet. I pulled it off, cut it up , and stained it! I gave this to my mom for Christmas.

For my sista
My sister and I don't officially do presents for Christmas for each other because we make it all about the kids but every year I make her something. She has really been getting into cooking since she is a stay at home mom again so I wanted to make her a magnetic meal planner.
I love my B
So I had a package sitting on the counter for a week because I thought it was something for the boys for Christmas. Well I opened it yesterday and I started to cry! The reason I started this whole running adventure was my inspiration, my idol...Beth. She is one of my longest, dearest friends and in my package was 2 GU gels from her all the way from Colorado!!!! I don't know how to explain how thoughtful this was and how much it really meant to me. Thank you B!!

Halloween Treats
I almost forgot until I was looking through my pictures that I didn't upload our Halloween treats. This is what my littlest guy took for his classmates, the lunch ladies and the bus driver. The mummy and Frankenstein was for the adults and the test tubes were for the kids.
Thanksgiving
While I was running I came up with this idea for our Thanksgiving place settings. Stay tuned I'm going to think of more with-it's tonight when I run. I get a lot done while running:) now if I only knew how to run a saw.
Brooklyn's Duct tape wallet
I made this wallet for my sweet pea Brooklyn, out of DUCT TAPE!! I think she liked it. She's 8 so maybe if was just the money inside that she liked :)

More birthday fun
Here is her door hanger with more of her favorites: glitter, a sheet of princess crowns, and a stamp!
Birthday fun
Here is her card. She would much rather have several little things all day long than one bog thing and then it's done. So I have several presents planned all day for her. This is a stamp she let me use when we went on a scrapbook weekend.

B inspires me :)
I have a friend we will call B, we've been friends for over 20 years and definitely since a very bonding senior year she has remained one of my besties. You know those friends that you love to pieces no more how far apart you live or how long it's been since you've seen each other. The friend you can pick up right where you left off every time you see each other? That friend that you just adore? Well this friend really starting inspiring me on this quest to a healthier me over a year ago and every day when I run I think about her and how much I love and appreciate her and how inspiring she is to me. On those really hard runs...it gets me through. I am really proud of her and some day I want to be just like her. The best race I ever ran wasn't gaged on a fast time or taking first or even the cause we were running for....it was crossing that finish line with my bestfriend, my inspiration. I found an article that made me think about her so I thought I would whip up a card to send her.
First week of school - bus driver treat!
So my children rode the bus for the FIRST time EVER this week.....and everything ( after a few minor glitches) went okay. So I thought I would bake the bus driver some cookies Friday - a little happy Friday treat. I made this tag with some scrap apple I had.

Birthday Hottie
This is a little box taken from The Cat's Pajama's March Project of the Month, so cute and fast to make. This is for a friend at work who is turning 50 tomorrow, who is also a hot Harley Mama - hence the black and orange. I love this stamp from Rubbernecker stamps. Her bathingsuit and flower are matchy - matchy :)
She loves Mr Goodbars so I wrapped some mini's in coordinating paper to match her theme.

Playing along with the The Cat's Pajamas challenge again. We found out yesterday in a very sneaky way, that my cousin and her husband are expecting their first baby!!! I am super excited and wanted to rush home and make them something. So I incorporated this sketch and used my applique since I have been seeing it on a ton of cards lately and just love it. I am also making her a 40 week journal, which hopefully will be ready to mail out at the end of the week.

Paper: Cosmo Cricket, SU

One of my favorite stampers at Susiestampalot.com is the hostess with the mostess this week for the Tuesday TCP challenge and she chose to use any sentiment with the word LOVE or HEARTS. How fun! I got out the glitter and scissors and made some hearts. I would like the whole new TCP pack with the heart dies however, my stamp spending has been frozen.......so old school hearts it is :)

MFTWSC2, TSG89, TCP Tuesday #141
Okay, so I wanted to keep with my New Year's Resolution and play along with challenges but I was suppose to be packing for my Stamp Retreat this weekend!!! Which I am so excited about. And to add to my dilema, There were 3 challenges that I wanted to do....so what do I do - combine them all in one!! I did the TSG89 color challenge to use red, pink, black and grey (great colors I might add), The Cat's Pajama's supply challenge using ribbon and not making a bow - hence her scarf made of ribbon and MFT sketch. Viola! Here it is and I am packed for this weekend.

I've found another fabulous stamper, http://kgiron.blogspot.com/, I love her style and use of color. Today when I was brousing my "favorites" I noticed that there is a Sunday challenge. Perfect! We just got cable (I know we are almost completely into the 2000's now) and so my kids didn't want to play with me today, they just wanted to explore their new channels. So, I ran downstairs and made a card. It looked cuter in my mind but oh well.
