TCPTUES143

One of my favorite stampers at Susiestampalot.com is the hostess with the mostess this week for the Tuesday TCP challenge and she chose to use any sentiment with the word LOVE or HEARTS. How fun! I got out the glitter and scissors and made some hearts. I would like the whole new TCP pack with the heart dies however, my stamp spending has been frozen.......so old school hearts it is :)

MFTWSC2, TSG89, TCP Tuesday #141

Okay, so I wanted to keep with my New Year's Resolution and play along with challenges but I was suppose to be packing for my Stamp Retreat this weekend!!! Which I am so excited about. And to add to my dilema, There were 3 challenges that I wanted to do....so what do I do - combine them all in one!! I did the TSG89 color challenge to use red, pink, black and grey (great colors I might add), The Cat's Pajama's supply challenge using ribbon and not making a bow - hence her scarf made of ribbon and MFT sketch. Viola! Here it is and I am packed for this weekend.

SSSC99

I've found another fabulous stamper, http://kgiron.blogspot.com/, I love her style and use of color. Today when I was brousing my "favorites" I noticed that there is a Sunday challenge. Perfect! We just got cable (I know we are almost completely into the 2000's now) and so my kids didn't want to play with me today, they just wanted to explore their new channels. So, I ran downstairs and made a card. It looked cuter in my mind but oh well.

This I cased from my FAVORITE stamper Leigh O'Brien, she does amazing things with her coloring and putting colors together.

Just Because

This was a super fast card to do to add to our collection. Two colors, two stamps.

Thank you

This was a layout that I cased from someone on Splitcoast and starting today when I make a card, I will blog it and remember to give all credit where it is do, I am so bad at that. Again, I just tried using some scraps for the layers. I used 4 different sizes of circles to make the flower, with a brad in the middle.

Group picture

This was a group shot of the cards that I made for myself, my mom, and my granny. I made three of everything so I can get my grandma's box filled, my mom always wants card and I might need some my self:)

Birthday Girl

Isn't this little girl precious??? I just love her and she is so easy to paper piece her clothes! Now I just need a little girl to give it to:)

Happy Birthday Granny

This was for my granny's 82 birthday last Tuesday - the most wonderful women in the entire world. I absolutely love her and she is just the greatest person I've ever known. She has a great sense of humor too, so she loved it. This was a digi download, and I used scraps of Su DS paper and the build a brads

Rose generic card

I made this card from one I had seen on Splitcoast using the french script and a rose is a rose stamp set. Now that I actually know how to use my stamp-a-ma-jig (my second stampamajig, since I gave the first one away since I didn't get it and thought it was a waste of time:) Now I LOVE it and use it constantly!! Thank you Jeni and Crystal for that!! I love the SU! pinks and I used stickles for the center of the flower

Sympathy

More for granny, this was stamped in night of navy and ice stickles applied over top, which you can't see very well in the picture.

Polka Dot Sympathy

I made this sympathy card for my sweet granny who needed more cards for her pile. Simple and easy, I think she liked it. Just a piece of DS Paper and SU!ribbon ansd you are all set.

Another Frankenstein

Here is my other Frankenstein, a little darker, but just as cute:) Don't you love to shade with prisma pencils??/ I love Halloween too. Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Frankenstein

Here is my frankenstein from Halloween, a little late, yes, I know. But I will be a better blogger this year. I colored him with prismacolor pencils - I love those pencils and it was so fun to shade this.

The Cat's Pajama's Cuties

I LOVE all of The Cat's Pajamas stamps, they are so fun to stamp with. I've stolen card layouts all week while I was off with the kids on Christmas break. Fun, Fun. I paper pieced their clothes with scraps of paper. (Another new years resolution, to use more scraps).

My New Year's Resolution.....to post on my blog

Here is my inspiration book. I would like to loose another 30lbs this year and I have "incentives" for every 5 I loose. I did a lot of stamping this last week while I was off for vacation...it was heaven. The boys kept having friends over, so I got to play a little.
